Project Description

This project consisted of the rehabilitation of the HVAC systems that serve approximately 500,000 square feet of Federal offices, Federal courtrooms, judge’s chambers, penthouses and basements. The HVAC work included installation of new VAVs, ductwork and insulation, airhandlers, motors, hydronic piping/valves and insulation, and registers. HVAC controls required coordination and interface with a separate contractor under GSA contract. Demolition included removal of existing pneumatic controls, fiberboard ductwork, insulation, acoustical and plaster ceilings. The project was completed in an occupied building with no tenant incidents. The project was completed within budget.
