This project required the protection of the existing building, site improvements and landscaping. Portions of the existing brick pavers, concrete curb and gutter, and asphalt concrete was removed. The existing K-Rails were removed and transported to another facility. The existing bollards were removed and salvaged. New bollard foundations were constructed. New metal bollards were installed and covered with pre-cast concrete covers. The demolished brick pavers, concrete curb and gutter, and asphalt concrete were repaired/replaced to match existing improvements. Also, existing traffic signals were relocated. In order to construct the bollard foundations there were several underground utility relocations necessary.
